Hearing

Evaluation of
hearing loss,
dizziness and
balance
disorders as
well as hearing
aid dispensing
is provided
through our
Audiology
Department,
staffed by a
certified
licensed
audiologist. The
Audiologist is
certified by the
American
Speech-Language
Hearing
Association (ASHA),
and licensed by
the state of
Maryland for
audiologic
testing and
hearing aid
dispensing.

The Signs of a Hearing Problem
- Can hear, but cannot
understand.
- More difficulty hearing
in groups.
- More difficulty hearing
in noisy settings than in
quiet settings.
- Turns the TV or radio
very loud.

aid to you, we advise you to
obtain a written medical
clearance from an Ear, Nose,
and Throat specialist
