About Dr.
Aurion Dwyer
Dr. Aurion Dwyer
has been working
in the field of
Audiology for
over 20 years.
She received her
doctoral degree
from the Arizona
School of Health
Sciences
Kirksville
College of
Osteopathic
Medicine; her
Bachelor of
Science degree
at the College
of New Jersey
and her Masters
degree from the
University of
Maryland,
College Park,
Maryland.
She is licensed
by the State of
Maryland for
Audiology as
well as hearing
aid dispensing.

Audiology is
the science of hearing and the study of auditory
vestibular processes. The audiologist is
concerned with the development, anatomy,
physiology, and pathology of the auditory and
vestibular systems, as well as the evaluation,
habilitation/rehabilitation, and the psychology
of hearing and/or balance impairment. In
addition, audiologists provide counseling and
training in the use of amplification devices and
the remediation of hearing and vestibular
disorders.

Dr. Aurion Dwyer
has been practicing with Dr.
Garro for the past 15 years. The
audiological services that she
provide include diagnostic
audiological testing, tests for
balance and dizziness, hearing
aid selection and fitting and
counseling patients and their
families about hearing loss.
She is a dedicated professional
whose primary goal is to help
her patients and their families
understand the impact of hearing
loss and to provide them with
viable solutions to this
impairment. |
